Board Members

The Board is comprised of an elected group of parents and community members. The Board members are elected by parents at the Annual General Meeting held in November.

The Honourable Justice Tevie H. Miller

Tevie Miller was a man of great accomplishments, compassion, integrity, and commitment to his community. He loved the law and rose in his profession to serve as Associate Chief Justice, Alberta Court of Queen's Bench. He loved his Alma Mater, the University of Alberta, generously giving his time as Students' Union President, President of the Alumni Association, a member of the Senate, a member of the Board of Governors, and as Chancellor. The Honourable Justice Tevie Miller served as chairman of the Banff School of Advanced Management for ten years. He enjoyed teaching and was a mentor to many students in his role as sessional lecturer in the University of Alberta Law Faculty and the Banff School of Advanced Management. A devoted community supporter, Justice Miller contributed to many local groups. He was one of the founders of the Edmonton Community Foundation and the E.F.F.O.R.T. Society; a Chairman of the Edmonton United Way; and President of the Edmonton Jewish Community Council. In addition, his love of sports led him to volunteer as a director of the Edmonton Eskimos, a Vice-President of the 1978 Commonwealth Games, and a board member of the 1983 Universiade Games. He enjoyed being with young people and he had a lifelong commitment to education.
